OUR PARTNERS

Kapap originated during the 1940’s and was used by Israeli defence forces and police as a system for self defence and hand-to-hand combat.

The name Kapap comes from the full name Krav Panim El Panim and literally means ‘face-to-face combat’.

Construction

The facts don’t lie and recent figures showed that the areas around Union Street and Belmont Street had the highest crime figures for any police beat in Scotland.

Here’s a breakdown of the crime figures for Aberdeen City Centre in 2008-09;

• 630 minor assaults
• 137 violent offences
• 53 serious assaults
• 6 rapes

Unfortunately we live in a society where anti-social behaviour and assaults are all too common.

Being the victim of an assault can not only have a physical impact but a long lasting emotional one too. Remember the figures above are for Aberdeen City Centre only, and so the overall city-wide numbers are higher.

Taking a self defence training course with Elite will prepare you for dealing with all types of attack and potential threats so that you don’t become another statistic.
